Outside of her communications consulting work, Delaney is a fiction writer and aspiring novelist.

Her debut novel, which follows an influential Washington family in the lead-up to the 2003 Iraq War, investigates the pain of a family torn apart by politics, the courage of a daughter who defies her family’s gendered expectations, and the dire consequences we all face when those in power make decisions without fear of accountability.
